Look Mum No Hands! is a cyclists’ haven in Shoreditch. Located near Old Street, this cafe, bike workshop and wine bar isn’t just your average coffee shop. It’s a place where you can buy your gear, take your bike to be fixed and meet fellow cyclists.
As well as serving coffee, breakfast, lunch & evening meals along with beer and wine, LMNH also doubles up as an exhibition space, and host unique events such as cycle speed-dating, bike maintenance courses, cycling competitions, film screenings and much more.
Look Mum No Hands! pride themselves on being a hub for of all the different elements of London’s cycle culture.
I recently visited this quirky cafe and the atmosphere was buzzing. I feel like the cycling industry has soared in the last few years, with more and more people taking up the hobby, creating a large community feel.
We visited for breakfast, enjoying eggs florentine, eggs royale and a slice of banana and salted caramel cake. All the food was delicious and service was friendly and fast.
I have a bike that I ride to work or occasionally for recreational reasons, however visiting a place like LMNH makes me want to get out on it more and really enjoy everything that cycling has to offer.
If you or someone you know is bike-obsessed, I would highly recommend visiting this place.
